****This is an email****Dear Tricia,

I hope you are having a nice summer.  I just returned from 
my field work in Nova Scotia a few days ago.  It was an 
incredible experience--my colleague and I were the only 
people on the entire island, which we shared with 
hundreds of birds that we were studying.  The birds--
Leach's Storm Petrels--are like little hobbit-birds.  They 
live in underground burrows and the adults have a 
beautiful call--more like a purring cat--very lovely.     

I was hoping to schedule delivery of both my new 
computers for this week if possible, as I'm planning to 
work on some papers, courses et al. over the rest of the 
summer.  My schedule is flexible, but I'm mostly at home 
(not on contract for the summer), so I'd need a set date 
and approximate time.  Wednesday would be ideal for 
this week, but any day could work.  Next week is fine as 
well.

Let me know.  I do understand that the techs may need 
more lead time, but I would like them as soon as they are 
available.

UPDATED INFO FROM KAREN AS OF 12:29PM today: 
For the PC:
I have the Primer discs (purchased from a grant).
 If you have a copy, go ahead and do the install.
 Otherwise, I can do it.

As for delivery...I'm actually not going to be
available for computer delivery until the end of
July (after July 26).  I am very briefly back in
the first week of July, but will be preparing for
a field expedition to Nova Scotia.   I'll be OK
with the loaner, which I will be taking with me to
Los Angeles today as I still need to do some WOU
related work (but will not be taking to Nova
Scotia).  I will need both laptops in August!

There is a external USB Drive and USB to USB-C
adapter with this setup that is invoiced to NSM960
separate from laptop please deliver that with
either this laptop or MAC laptop setup on SR#63960

their FAQ indicates it is WIN 10 64 bit
compatibile but might need .Net 2 Framework see:

GFA EQUIP SETUP: A Dell latitude laptop W# 20161103[Edit Inv] is to 
be set up and delivered for Haberman Research Lab in NS 
001A. This is located in ITC 008 on the counter across from 
the storage wall. This will be replacing CPU W# 20091029[Edit Inv] 
and monitor W# 20091066[Edit Inv].
