Hi Mathew,

That is good news that you are up to date. 
Since our records something different that 
means we have not installed our Mac managing 
system (JAMF) to your machine. This is 
something we will need to do. It takes about 3 
minutes. 

Would you have time today or next week to do 
this?

I am already running Sierra (OS 10.12) on my 
mac (I tend to update once the most recent 
release has stabilized). If there is a specific 
security update you are concerned about, I can 
send more information when I am on campus

Sorry for the multiple messages I would also like 
to add that your computer will need to be backed 
up prior to the update. Also, depending on your 
machine or what OS it is running, this could take 
a while as well.
