We still need to update your Mac to get rid of
security flaws in your operating system. Could you
let me know when I, or another technician, could
come pick it up from you in order to install the
update. Thank you! Also this update will remove
files that aren't on your network H: drive so make

Since you are dropping it off and letting us do 
this at our office it really doesn't matter 
when you want to do this. All I ask is you give 
me a day that you will drop it off that way I 
know that I am expecting it.

Hi Kara,

If that best works for you then it works for 
me. Since you are running 10.10.5 the update 
will take about two hours. Do you know what day 
you will drop it off? If not that's okay. I 
just wanted to put it on my calendar if you 
did.

When you drop the machine off please give the 
front desk SR#66431. In the Service request, I 
have noted to put the machine on my desk if I 
am not in the office at the time of drop off.

Lastly, Please remember to backup your machine 
to your H drive or any other type of external 
drive prior to dropping off. If you are unsure 
how to do this please let me know.

Hi Kara,

Thank you for all this information it helped a 
lot.

We will have to do two updates on your machine. 
One to 10.11 then to 10.12. This will most 
likely take more than an hour. On Doodle I see 
you had put availability for an hour during the 
next few weeks.

Do you have a day where you have more than one 
hour available? If not I can also set you up 
with a loaner machine to work on while we 
update your machine if that works better with 
your schedule.

Hi Kara,

I am emailing you about the availability you 
put on Doodle for Mac Update. 

Depending on what version you are running on 
your iMac it may take more than an hour to get 
this done.

Could you tell me what OS X you are running on 
your Mac with WOU# 20131002[Edit Inv]?

To do this go to the Apple logo on the top 
left-hand side of your screen. Click on About 
This MAC. In there it will tell you if you are 
running a 10.9 or 10.10 or something different.
