Rachel,

After you dropped off your laptop I opened it up
and it defiantly has some sort of liquid damage to
it. This machine is still in warranty but Apple
will not cover liquid damage. In the past, it has
been about $700-1000 for this repair. I can call
Apple and get it sent in and they will let me know
the price prior to fixing it. From our records, it
looks like this was originally your machine and
that you had W20120397 prior to this one. So I'm
not sure how liquid spilled on it but I know that
a lot of liquid got into your laptop. Which would
cause the machine to randomly shut down and not
function properly.

I'm working on trying to get your DVD out. Please
let me know how you would like to proceed.
