I ran diagnostics and did some driver updates. He 
had a little bit of Malware but not much.

He is going to call me back if the issue persists.

Good morning,

 

Ever since my computer was re-imaged after the
ransomware incident, it does a thing where
randomly when I am typing it will freeze for a
5-10 seconds, during which time all the letters I
type or keys I press do not register. Then
suddenly they will catch up. It did not do this
before, so I am not sure why it does it now but it
is frustrating when I am trying to work in Banner
or compose emails.

 

Also, last night when I logged off it had some
sort of fatal error and had black screens with
green text, saying something about “Collecting
Data for Crash Dump.” It then popped up the screen
that “windows was not shut down properly” etc.  Is
this something to be concerned about? My computer
is 20150658.
