I sincerely apologize for missing you on
Wednesday-- I ended up trying to get through too
many tasks and in the process lost track of your
planned visit. I'm really sorry for wasting your
time in that way. 

Today I'm in meetings until afternoon. Would it be
possible to put it off until Tuesday? I will be
free at 2 and could stop by your office then if
you tell me where you are.
