Hi Ken,

We were just following up with you regarding a service
request that we have for you. (#69391)

Description: *9/24 anytime* map drive/ no internet

I sent out an email last week about moving to Windows 10.
I'd be happy to meet with you to go over the new system.
Your H drive is on the machine it is just a different way to
get to it.

Thanks,
Megan Eichler

Okay, I looked at the computer in the classroom
again. The WOU number on it is 20150330[Edit Inv]. I do
think it would be good for a tech to go by the
classroom to look at it. It seems that the
network connections are not set up the way they
should be, and when I tried to change the
settings it asked for administrator
authorization. So if you could put in a
request to have someone look at the computer
that would be helpful to everyone who teaches
in that classroom. Again, it's 235 HSS.
Thanks for your help.

I just now was teaching a class in HSS 235, and
the computer in the classroom was not behaving
in a way I found familiar. When I logged into
the computer the H drive was not visible.
Indeed I could not in any way find my files,
which I do need to have access to in order to
teach. The computer did say that I was logging
onto MASH, but once logged on there was nothing
about it that looked like what I'm used to from
15 years of teaching on this campus.

So my question is: what is going on with this
computer? Is there some reason I was unable to
access the H drive in order to get my files?
Please let me know when you get a chance.
