I was able to disable a script that ran at startup 
on login and that seems to help speed up the login 
process.  I met with her and she was happier with 
the performance.

John is meeting with Kimberly on the 8th at 2pm to
see what is going on with her machine. I had an
interesting phone call with her where she told me
she is in line for a replacement and it better
happen..

the hardware is still good.

I have only two files saved to the C drive -- the
rest are on the network. After my initial login it
takes from 7-9 minutes for everything to load
before I can begin using the computer. At times a
file will take a long time to load. The internet
is very slow.

Dear UCS:

My faculty computer, a MacBook Pro, is a 2013
model. It is very slow, especially after this
summer's additions of the login policies and other
functions. My understanding is that we are on a
five-year replacement schedule and I would like to
request a replacement. Would you please let me
know about what I need to do to schedule this?
