I had to reinstall the OS over the top, This 
does not remove user data.  Once it was done it 
booted properly.  I ran all the available 
update and rebooted the system several times.  
The computer is not running properly.

I ran disk utilities 
first aid and found no 
problems.

Looks like automatic 
updated started to 
install and crashed or 
system lost power during 
install. Now the system 
is tfying to resume but 
can not find the update 
data.

Hello,

I work in RWEC 210. Today I came in and tried to use the 
new mac workstation that we purchased two months ago 
(20180395), would not boot, and was giving me the 
attached error. This computer is vital to our operations in 
RWEC 210, and I would appreciate it if you could send a 
tech as soon as possible on Monday to diagnose the issue, 
and provide a timeline as to how long it will take to fix.
