Lauren, I’m visiting dad in southern California. Does Thursday, August 26 work for you I can drop off the laptop or meet with you with it. I am also going to put in for a newer replacement laptop. I think it would be nice to have one on campus. And one at home. Would like to keep this older one anyway that’s another conversation I’ll have with Bill and go through the portal faculty desktop computer replacement portal. Hope you are well. Thanks Philip

Description: **Check back around 8/15**Mac Update

I'm Lauryn with UCS. It looks like your 
MacBook Pro's operating system is out of date. We will need to update you to 10.15 or higher. Since your OS is out of date, you are at higher risk of getting malware and viruses. This is a security risk, and any information on your laptop is at risk for attacks. Let me know when would be a good 
time and day for one of the techs to come by 
and take care of this issue. If you have any 
questions, feel free to contact our front office 
at 503-838-8925.

The service request ticket has not been updated for over a year. If this issue has been resolved, please let me know.

Megan, I think I have already updated on my office
"newest" laptop to the latest operating system.
Anyway my older laptop is in need of a "reboot?".
Spring break I'm as far away from campus as I can
be, so I'll contact you (or vice versa) Week two
of Spring term with regards to both computers.

This needs Mac OS updates to at least 10.12 or higher. It is 
running unsupported Mac OS.
