John went down and did some installing from JAMF 
so it will refresh each log in. Told him to 
contact me if he still sees the issue.

Hi Kevin,

When you say they can not print with their user 
logins, is a login popping up when they go to 
print that's asking for a username and 
password?

Hi Shondelle,

No, the issue is that they cannot print from 
their user logins. Every now and then one or 
two of the printers work. But it always seems  
to be hit or miss. This has always happened in 
the past but I could usually fix it with my 
administrative status (same with Drew). But, 
ever since the drives were wiped and re-imaged 
over the summer, my admin login has not allowed 
me to fix the print que.

One other thing that has always been consistent 
in that lab is that once all of the computers 
seem to be printing correctly it's only a short 
while before each computer loses its ability to 
print, and we end up in this current situation.

Hi Kevin,

I went down and checked the Macs to make sure 
they had printers added to it. I didn't have 
any issues connecting and printing. Is the 
issue that the students are not seeing a 
printer when they go to print? Or do they see 
the printer and when they click print nothing 
happens?

Do you notice if it is specific Macs having the 
issue?

Hi Kevin,

I went down to APCS 102 and test printed on the 
printer in there. I could not get the machine 
to jam. I test printed on each tray. If it does 
it again please email me directly and I will 
come down and look at it again. If you notice 
its only a specific tray doing it please note 
that in the email.

I’m not sure if students are getting any error
messages when trying to print, but I am unable to
add the printer back to a computer with my admin
access. The problem mostly occurs when printing
wirelessly. I have had success printing via USB.
The WOU ID for the printer is 20131144[Edit Inv].

Hello, 
Music students have been having issues getting the
printer in the MIDI Lab to work. I have gone in to
try and fix it as the MIDI Lab assistant, but
haven't had much luck. Any help you can provide
will be greatly appreciated.
