Hi,

Shandelle relayed information about Windows 
Updates to me second-hand 
from another UCS department, and I think there 
was some confusion in the 
information pipeline. It doesn't make sense 
that Windows Updates are 
automatically downloaded, but individual users 
are now responsible for 
manually installing those updates on a regular 
basis. I'd like someone 
who works directly with Windows Updates to get 
in touch with me about this.

Hi there,

Three times in the past week I've left my 
laptop logged in and locked, 
and when I came in the next morning, it had 
been restarted. I believe 
this is due to updates, and I don't appear to 
have access to change this 
setting. I often leave webpages and other 
materials I'm working on open 
so I can quickly pick back up where I left off, 
so I need help changing 
the settings so it won't restart automatically.
