Hello,

Last term UCS helped me re-image my office 
computer (NS 117, #20131015) in the hope that 
this would help my computer work faster, after 
steadily declining in speed this year. UCS's 
updating and re-imaging my computer did help my 
computer work moderately faster for a week or 
two, but at that point was still too slow for 
me to be able to reliably use my computer for 
work. 

It has slowed down to the point of being almost 
impossible to use reliably again; for example 
trying to open a word document might take 
minutes or not happen at all. This computer is 
about 6 years old, and given that the re-
imaging and updating has not proved to be a 
long-lasting solution, I think it is time to 
consider replacing my machine. 

My understanding is that Faculty are eligible 
to have their computers replaced every 3 years. 
This is my third year at WOU, and unless UCS 
has some other ideas of how to get my computer 
working at an acceptable speed, I would like to 
initiate the process of replacing my computer. 
I am finding it really hard to do my job 
effectively without a good work computer.

Who should I contact in order to try to get 
this done soon?
