Hello I am sending this email because of 
multiple challenges I am having with this 
computer. I thought I could make it through the 
end of the term but my frustrations with it's 
performance has hit a breaking point.

The challenges i am having include the 
following;
1. Incredibly slow start up (5-7 minutes from 
power on to home screen)
2. internet connection inconsistent and drops 
(even if internet is fine)
3. slow opening and navigation of programs 
(office slow to engage from internet file open)
4. Lag in typing and mouse movement
5. Audio distortion (especially when plugged in 
to power cord)

What I have done:
1. cleaned up desktop to remove large files
2. emptied recycle bin
3. restarted computer

Results
No difference

Second Item:
I understand that I am eligible for a new 
computer due to it's age. Our program assistant 
has tried to find out the status of 
replacements multiple times with no response. I 
would like to see if i could get some 
information on possibilities of getting a new 
laptop and the options that are available.
