Hey I'm not on at 11 on Monday, can you go over and help 
her back up her stuff, we just have to back up her desktop 
and bookmarks and we can worry about the upgrade later, if 
you can get to it between 11-12 then pass it to Pete, hes in 
during the 12-1 time she available

Okay I will probably hold off on scheduling the upgrade 
then. We can only access your bookmarks with you 
logged in. Your stuff will be left in place during this 
type of upgrade but we like to be safe in case things 
go south.

OK, I am leaving now and will leave the machine on. I 
was on campus today for a meeting and will return 
possibly next week if we have a department meeting 
scheduled on Thursday. 
Reggie Johnson contacted me regarding the issue as I 
have no idea how to back up a computer and I replied 
by email but have not heard back.
I will need the bookmarks especially backed up as I 
teach with these textbook websites and will need to 
have access in order to do so. I am going to leave the 
machine on in good faith that I will still have my 
bookmarks and the new operating system will 
remember my passwords so that I can continue to do 
my job.

Hi Brenda,

We were just following up with you regarding a service 
request that we have for you.  (#73642)

Description: Win 7 to Win 10

We can schedule your Windows 7 to 10 upgrade 
overnight through our management software. Everything 
happens automatically and will also upgrade you to the 
latest Office. All you need to do is leave your machine on 
and it will upgrade between 10pm-5am. This should be 
near zero downtime. As always we still ask that you 
backup your files and bookmarks just in case something 
goes wrong. If you are unsure of how to backup for stuff 
you can contact the Help Desk at ucshelpdesk@wou.edu 
or by calling 88925.

I need some additional information regarding service 
request #73642

Description: Win 7 to Win 10

We have a ticket here to update you pc to windows 10 
but before we can do that we have to insure that your 
files and data has been backed up either to your H:\ 
drive or a personal storage device. Do you have 
anything left on your cpu that needs to be backed up?

Needs update
She's a prof, so she isnt on campus much till 
office hours during term. 
The division secretary on the Second floor of 
Maaske can unlock her office for the update.
