Thanks for the email back. I am in the thick of 3 horrible weeks where
I cannot have things messed up with my computer - so I am going to
continue using things as is until we can set up new things. I have not
attempted to talk with my dept or div chair about why my computer was
left off the replacement cycle and have avoided this because I don't
want them scheduling someone who is going to come in here and sweep my
stuff. I don't know who has to know that I need a new computer.

Hi Sarah,

I am the UCS technician that attempted to fix your adobe issue.
I ended up having to work in your office for most of the
afternoon because the power went out. Even though I spent
a few hours on the issue, I still wasn't able to get anywhere.
The next step is to image (wipe) your computer which will not
only get you updated to win10, but also fix the issue. I believe
we spoke about doing this and you said you would prefer to wait
a few weeks before imaging and that is totally fine. In the
meantime, i can try to set you up with an alternative PDF
viewer or show you how to view PDFs online. If this wont work
for you just let me know and we can work something else out.
Sorry I couldn't be more help, let me know if what you think
and if you have any questions/requests. If you would rather
talk in person, I am working all day today except between 11-12.
Have a good day and I hope to hear back from you soon.

Searched Adobe and had her try these:
-Run the repair for the Microsoft visual C++
2013 Redistributable(x64&x86) and try again
restart
running the program as an admin

An error box saying "The app was unable to
start correctly (0xc000022). Click OK to close.
And that's the end of being able to do
anything.

Dear UCS,

I had a full adobe reading and editor prior to
relocating back to NSM. Since I came back, I
am getting application error messages every
time I try to open or edit pdf's, which I need
to manipulate for posting/work.

I would appreciate this be fixed. Thanks. The
computer is 20130542[Edit Inv]
