Hi Mike - Brian Caster in the Division of 
Health and Exercise Science here.  When you 
visited our division at the beginning of the 
term to present the DUO system and discuss 
security issues in general, I raised a problem 
that I have consistently experienced when using 
my Mac Laptop on campus - when I attempt to 
access Microsoft Office documents stored on my 
network area, the system will often lock up 
(spinning beach all of death), particularly 
when using PowerPoint at the point of saving a 
document.  This has made storing critical 
documents in my network area simply unworkable.  
You mentioned to contact you if the issue 
persists, and you could send your Mac system 
expert my way to troubleshoot.  Currently not 
only is this issue present, but I frequently 
have problems opening Microsoft Office 
documents at all, even when stored on the Mac 
desktop.

appreciated!
