Hello,

I'll have one of the techs come by Monday to 
deliver these, if not, I'll send out an email 
to reschedule. Regarding the accounts, the 
problem is not the type of account like 
conference one. We would like for all users to 
login with their WOU credentials; since in this 
situation they are unable to login for the 
first time on-campus (hardwire with ethernet), 
we must use an alternative (the conference 
account). If we already have faculty from your 
department logged into their computers then the 
conference accounts are not needed. One of the 
techs can explain this better in-person.

Hi there,

They are not the only ones in this situation – 
I have a team of 11.  They all should have 
conference accounts and they should also have 
administrator rights, like the rest of our 
folks.

 

I’ll be in my office on Monday if you are 
available that day – if so, let me know a time.

Hello,

I discussed this with my supervisor and we 
created conference accounts for them. This 
means we will provide them logins just to 
access the computer, but for other functions 
like portal, email, etc. they will need to use 
their regular WOU credentials. If you can let 
me know some possible dates and times where I 
can deliver this to you, it would be 
appreciated.

Hi Katherine,

Glad to know the laptops are here!  They are 
not able to come to campus – one is in Redmond 
and the other in Medford.  Let’s make other 
arrangements.  Just let me know what the 
options are.

 

They will not need anything special on their 
laptops besides what you have mentioned.
