I am sorry to hear that it is not possible for your to 
activate the license again.

The activation fails indeed because the license has 
not been deactivated and is still bound to the 
following devices:

Computer 1: w20130415.mash.wou.edu
Computer 2: py21213manoogim.mash.wou.edu

Both installations have been or are still in use by M. 
Eichler.
To be able to activate the license again please ask 
this user to deactivate the license on these devices 
as a Single User License may only be used by one 
person.

To deactivate a license please open MAXQDA with a 
right click and „Run as admin“. Once your are in 
MAXQDA, open a project file and click „?“ > 
„License“ > „License transfer / return“ > „Transfer 
license“.
The license will be deactivated and automatically 
unlocked for a a new activation.

Please note that we offer our free online support only 
for the current and the previous versions of 
MAXQDA, currently MAXQDA 2020 and MAXQDA 
2018.
All older versions and licenses (i.a. MAXQDA 11) are 
no longer supported and are not eligible for our free 
online supported anymore.
This also applies to gestures of goodwill such as 
deactivation of installations and licenses and the 
unlocking of new activation possibilities.

A professor's single user license of MaX QDA plus v11 wont let us 
activate with her serial # It sys "The Activation Key cannot be 
applied: This Activation Key was already used. Request a new lisense 
key" We think this is because the Tech forgot to deactivate off current 
and former station. Can we have license reset to be able to install 
again.

Margaret came in to drop off a laptop.

She said she was screening a film for class and 
then it made a screeching sound and froze. She 
let the battery die. In the in box. Give her a 
call when its ready.
