Will do, thanks! 

I did take out the battery, dusted inside the battery 
cavity, and put the battery back in. Now or is registering 
at 100% power. 

I will unplug and see battery's power. Then later I'll plug 
in and run diagnostic.

Hi Alicia,

You can run diagnostics on your laptop. If you turn off 
your laptop. Plug in the power cord and turn it back on.  
Once you hit the power button press F12 (keep pressing) 
after a minute a list will appear and in that list will be 
diagnostics. It will run a short diagnostics at first. If it 
comes up with no errors say yes to running full 
diagnostics. Let me know if it comes back with anything. 
I can also see if we have any loaner laptops left to give 
you if that is something you want.

Hi Helpful UCS Folks!

Alicia here with more laptop issues. The battery shows 
0% even after being plugged in all day. There is still a 
green light on the power supply and I have checked to 
see that the outlet is live and that the power supply is 
plugged in properly. And, it doesn't show it charging like 
it did when I picked it up last week (like how it will show 
the battery symbol filling and words saying 23 minutes 
unti fully charged). 

I am not sure what you can see, if anything on your end, 
if you do any remote diagnostics. But this is frustrating. 

The machine is running slowly and seems to get 
overheated quickly with it shutting down more frequently 
without warning (and then I get the baclk page with 
white writing saying that the computer shut down 
improperly and to press F1 to continue (with other 
options as well).

Any thoughts here?

Sorry to be a bother but I am not sure what else to do on 
my end.

hold a charge and changing power cords doesn't seem 
to be working.

Info from John on May 7  " new battery has broken 
corners.  It was the right size, but only after opening 
could I see that the corners were cracked and lifted.  So 
they would snag on surfaces. "

We had to change order to NON-OEM as DELL can get 
us OEM any time soome and keeps delaying shipment, 
since the laptop is out of warranty period it wont void 
warranty so we got the follwing: Total Micro Battery for 
Dell Latitude E7450 - 4-Cell 54WHr 7300mAh #451-
BBOG-TM	and it is on the Inventory Counter shelf in 
ITC008 with invoice.  She has waited a long time for this 
so please make contact with her to arrange install/deliver 
as soon as possible.  for use with W#20150178[Edit Inv] for Alicia
