Hi -this past winter quarter- my computer received an update. However, since that update took place. I am having a lot of difficulty with opening programs and using my computer. 

It is difficult to describe exactly what is going on... the easiest way is to say that everything is much harder to do... it is hard to make edits in my word documents, I cannot use my quick time player as easy as it once was... there will be times when I am trying to do something- like select a command in a drop down menu for word or power point- and it doesn't work.... basically I want my old version of the computer back..... can you help me?
