Good evening and happy Tuesday,

Since we last communicated, my laptop has 
turned itself off at least three times but 
fortunately did not do this when I held a 
synchronous class on Monday-yay.  Again, note 
for my laptop's file.

I would love an update on the new laptop.

Good morning,

Just an FYI and note for my "file", my laptop 
just turned itself off (again) stating low 
battery even though it is plugged in (securely 
in wall and laptop) and the battery icon shows 
full.

I was working in Canvas gradebook.

was set-aside(assigned from STOCK) for Alicia Wenzel

W#20191093should be on in ITC 013 Rack:(IFC)

Good morning and happy Saturday.

No need to respond-just saying...

9:31 am Saturday and my laptop said "low 
battery" and turned itself off. Odd since the 
laptop is plugged in and the connection to the 
wall and cord to the laptop are secure.

I do have 10 tabs up but that shouldn't be a 
problem.

Sharing this for my laptop's record and more 
evidence as to why I need something more 
consistent as we move into online learning fall 
(and likely winter).

Alicia,

I will forward this along to our tech 
responsible for replacing computers. Keep in 
mind we are very short staffed and very behind 
on the replacement process right now.

What is the WOU# on your machine?
In the meantime we can set up a loaner for you. 
We are currently out of PC loaners. Is there 
any special software it would need and when 
would you be available to pick it up?

Good morning,

Yesterday, during a Zoom meeting with my Dean, 
Mark Girod, my laptop died. I had to use my 
phone to quickly relog in while my laptop 
restarted and then rejoin the meeting. Not 
cool.

With classes starting next week, and having 
required virtual conferences with whole 
classes, I cannot have this happen while 
teaching. Issues with this laptop have been on-
going.

What is the process for receiving a new laptop?
