I remember it being already linked and registered with someone’s Apple ID already so it would not allow me to sign in myself to use it.

Hello,

We need you to bring the ipad to our office so we can manually factory reset it. It might be efficient, time wise, to have the library swap one for you.

Hi!

Im Madison Griego and I recently checked out an iPad for my diversity class and Im having trouble actually using it. I followed the instructions in the handout, but when setting up the iPad but at a certain point it stopped being helpful. I made it all the way to signing in to my Apple ID, but it would not let me. It says that “This iPad is linked to an Apple ID and password that were used to set up this iPad.” When clicking on activation Help, it says that “A password is required to activate this device because its owner has used Find My iPhone to link it to their Apple ID.” If there is any way you could help me out I would really appreciate it because I am to sure what to do, and this iPad is required for my class.. Thank you for any help you can give.
