if this request is for a personal computer or a 
WOU computer?

If it’s a laptop, we’d be more than happy to help 
you out. You can bring it to our ITC office at 
your convenience. If you prefer, one of our team

She also mentioned something about wanting Sophos / 
security programs updated and looked at on her 
laptop, but I can't find anything about a WOU laptop 
being assigned to her - when I or someone else meets 
with her soon, we can check to see if it is a 
personal or university laptop.

Maureen will either call UCS or email me to schedule 
a time to look at her desktop computer; she still 
wants to make sure Sophos is up to date and that all  
security is fine, she would also like to ask about a 
couple things that seemed 'off' with the computer 
lately. She'd also like a backup of this computer to 
assure no information downloaded on it is lost, and 
I explained that with a computer this old she 
possibly can submit a GFA request for a more up to 
date one.

Hi Maureen,

I was emailing to ask about an old service request, 
#76738, we have regarding an older dell desktop pc. 
The service request says there was an issue updating 
Sophos, and this request was put in back in 2020. Is 
this still needed?

What happened: The Sophos Central software on 
this computer has missed two updates.

Where it happened: W20150661

User associated with device: MASH\dolanm

What Sophos has done so far: n/a

What you need to do: Update the computer as 
follows. In the Sophos Central Admin console, 
go to the Computers page. Click on the computer 
name to open its details page and then click 
Update Now.
