Good Morning,

We have a ticket regarding a laptop Daniel Thom turned in. I am emailing you because the employee directory lists you as the Director of the Writing Center. Please let me know if I should contact a different person.

Following is the last memo regarding information we heard from the Writing Center (in December of 2020):

"They will need [the laptop] in the summer, no one is in the 
office. They want us to hold it. We could put it 
up here." 

The student technicians who created this ticket no longer work at UCS. Additionally, I have not found this laptop, an Apple MacBook Air #20141272[Edit Inv] in our office. I am writing to ask if you have this laptop in your office and/or know anything further regarding this ticket.

not sure where this is. i asked the front desk maybe a week ago, and whoever was working said she didn't have it. 

i put the wou# on the "missing wou devices" list on the board.

my guess is we still have this computer somewhere, because the ticket has not be closed, but there is a possibility the laptop was picked up and the ticket not updated. the wou# is not on the loaner spreadsheet, and the location has not been updated from APSC 301.

He turned in his computer because he's leaving. 
I'm called the director and asked if this 
something they want us to keep for now, or 
something they want to keep until they fill the 
position. I'll have it under my desk.
