Description: Battery Swelling

I'm checking-in on your computer. We only have 
two options for your computer right now. 
1. We can do a regular GFA replacement that comes 
with the newest MacBook, dock, monitor, mouse and 
keyboard. 
2. Replace just the battery, the price for 
this can be between $100-$200, just for the 
battery.

Let me know which option you would like to 
pursue, or if this is something you would like to 
wait on for now.

My mac laptop (20150087) is starting to high-center a little bit.  I've also been having periodic charging issues so I assume my battery is starting to swell.  I can bring it in tomorrow and drop it off but I don't have a way to back up the hard drive which is something I'll need if we're fixing or swapping this computer.  I can borrow a computer from the theatre (the projection computer, which I've been allowed to borrow in the past) to get by for the time being to deal with online classes and design work.  It doesn't  have all of the software I'll need if this is a longer-term issue however (more than a couple of weeks).

Julia & Laura, I'm cc'ing you to keep you in the loop.  Especially for if the computer needs to be replaced which would require additional funding from the Dean's office  - this is one of those hiring agreement items that has dollars attached due to the nature of the design computer.
