Hi, Lauren, 
I knew this was going to be difficult or impossible to reproduce. John and I spoke the other day and he asked me the on or off campus question. It definitely happens off campus. I can't remember if it has occurred on campus or not. However, I'm usually only on campus one day a week, so it not happening while there is not a positive test. 
The only consistent thing is that I'd have the Slack application running as well as Chrome. Before I brought it in, I uninstalled Slack to see if it would improve things.   Sometimes I was active on the computer, other times it would shut down when my hands were off the keyboard. 

Let's call it good for now. I'll pick it up in a few hours.  I'll use Slack through the web interface instead of the app and see if I have any issues off campus.

no dell command (John installed it; it has dell command now)
windows updates
windows update error encountered, "retry" :
     xerox-extension
     error encountered
     0x8008020b
     **error message described in a previous memo, john was saying it was related to printers 
compared to my computer (20140486): 
     apps it does not have: 7-zip, brave, google drive, google earth pro, konica minolta print experience, microsoft solitaire collection, notepad, video lan, vmware horizon client, xbox console companion
     extra apps it has: anywhere usb, avast cleanup premium, cisco, dropbox, hp smart, icloud, intel driver and support assistant, learning ally, logitech, messaging, mobile plans, revo uninstaller, techsmith, viking, wavesmaxxaudiopro
none of the apps i opened caused the issue
the issue did not occur when i logged in while the computer was off the WOU network
videos running fine, icloud stuff doesn't open, camtasia 2018 won't load, internet explorer won't open (lol)

I need some additional information regarding service request #77395

Description: Reoccurring stop code issue

I have been looking at your computer, and nothing I have done so far has caused the blue screen to pop up. Do you remember if there was a specific task you were doing when it would pop up; if there was a time or frequency; if you were on or off campus? Any information you could provide would be helpful.

opened almost all of the apps, none caused stop code error/blue screen

Here's what I originally wrote to the help desk, and the screenshot. 

Hi, there, 
I would like to bring my laptop (#20180599) into you tomorrow, Thursday, and see if you can figure out the source of this chronic problem. It's always this Stop Code. It occurs randomly, from a few times a week to multiple times in a day. Sometimes I'm actively using the machine and other times my hands are off. I just now uninstalled the Slack application as I have that running almost always, the only other consistent application I'm running is Chrome. The other oddity that occurs with this--sometimes--is that I have dual monitors, and upon the restart, Windows will display on my 2nd monitor rather than my primary. When that occurs, I restart again and things are back to normal.

i will continue looking into the issue by opening apps, running videos, and otherwise attempting to cause the stop code to occur (to find the root of the problem)

dell command not installed

windows update keeps encountering an error with xerox-extension
error code: 0x8008020b

the .msix/.appx package's group map is invalid
(from microsoft website)

the specified package format is not valid: the package's content group map is invalid 
(same error code, from forum post)

issue might be similar to what a couple of other computers are dealing with
sr 77414
emailed to ask if blue screen or restarts were happening

i don't know what a stop code error is but that is written both in here and in 77414

Did the screen on the computer you were having issues with turn blue? Or did the computer restart repeatedly for no reason?
