noise is coming from video card; a fan (or something) is not spinning smoothly

took it out, dusted off, reinserted it

the computer is taking a while to load. it turned on, was working find for a moment, then crashed. i am unsure why. i hope i didn't mess something up with the video card. it is connecting to the monitors, which it wasn't doing over in advising, but it may be overheating or having other issues.

this computer is from advising, elizabeth harman. it wouldn't connect to either of her monitors, so i brought it back to ucs to look at. it is connecting to two monitors here; perhaps both cords in her office were bad? which seems unlikely, but...

it is also making a noise resemblant of a pencil sharpener. it appears to be coming from a sort of disk within the computer. it is overheated, so i will conduct further investigation once it has cooled down.
