Let's replace the harddrives in these computers with NVMes. They are new enough that they should not need to be replaced yet, and will support NVMe drives. We can pull them out of our student lab supply stock.

Hello UCS,
A while ago (over winter break), I had put in a request to get all of the computers re-imaged or something like this, to make them run smoother and faster.
Computer numbers 20171070[Edit Inv] (front desk) and 20171069[Edit Inv] (student cube left) have been done and are working great.
Computer number 20171069[Edit Inv] (student cube right) has been done recently however it runs even slower than before we had you all work on it. So if this one could get done again that would be great.
Computer number 20171068[Edit Inv] (testing center) also needs to be worked on.
If you could let me know when you can come and work on these that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lauren,

Thanks so much for your email. Yes, this issue still needs UCS attention- and, I would say that "inconveniently slow" is an understatement. This computer (along with several other ODS student worker stations) is unusably slow. Unfortunately, since this is our front desk/reception computer, I am not able to bring it to UCS.

If so, are you able to bring this computer (20171069) in to UCS so we can take a look at it?
Additionally, if you would like us to take a look at this computer, which users would you like us to delete, and which do you need us to keep?

This computer was re imaged not too long ago, and is slow again, one of the related info they provided is that the computer has users that are no longer working there, if that might be an issue.
