Hi Lauryn!

I got your message on Zoom. I'm in a meeting for the next hour or so and this afternoon.

My apologies for not being in contact; I was anticipating having to be there in person yesterday and last minute found out I didn't need to make the drive (currently about 6.5 hours round-trip).

If you need to get them out of your space and are comfortable doing so, would you be able to put them in TODD 304? I still plan on coming to campus in the next few weeks, now with a target date of 12/14. If you're not comfortable with putting these items in TODD 304, I have it on my calendar on 12/14 to come pick these up from UCS that morning or afternoon.

Please let me know what would work best for you.

after looking into the adapter question:

we don't have anything we can give her, but there is something she can buy. she decided to hold off on this for now.

she has a monitor and wants to be able to attach it to her dock. she's going to send me pictures of the dock and the cord she currently has. 

it sounds like if she is able to connect her current monitor, she might not need the new one for this setup?

Hi Lauryn!

I got your message but you'd gone home for the day by the time I was able to call back. I left this info with UCS help desk/Elliot, but I would like the monitor and keyboard/mouse setup. I will be on campus again on 11/17 so I could pick them up then. Does that work? I might come to campus before that, but that date is for sure.

Also, are we not able to plug in an HDMI cable to the docking stations? Do you have any adapters that go HDMI to USB so that an HDMI could be connected?

Hi Lauryn!

It looks like I'll be on campus again next week, Wednesday, October 20th and could pick up the laptop/accessories then (and get admin rights). 

I have meetings for portions of the morning, though I might be free between 10-11 to pop into UCS. Otherwise, I should be free after 2 pm if that works?

Yes, that's right!! I will let you know when I am coming to campus next.

In the meantime, I'm using the Todd 304 computer (with departmental permission) to work remotely. I will return it my next time to campus and come pick up this laptop!

Great! Thanks! I will need admin rights. In the purchase request I also asked for a way to plug in a USB and maybe HDMI. Do you have that?
