It's back in the office and in the 2 weeks pit. 
Looking at 80252, she got a new loaner. She 
shouldn't be needing this since it will be 2 weeks 
on Monday. I'll complete the ticket once the Mac 
is reimaged.

don't believe there's been any status changes on this since the last memos, 20131030[Edit Inv] is still loaned out. 
not sure on status or if there's any need to fix 20120651[Edit Inv] since it's ready to be PDR'd if it hasn't yet

Description: Slow Loaner Mac 

For the slow loaner computer, we can pick it up and swap it out for a new loaner at your convenience. Additionally, when we visit to swap the computers, we can also resolve the date/time issue on 20150409[Edit Inv] and give you admin rights on that laptop.

Hi Jennie,

I don’t think it is an updating issue. The number 
is: 20120651[Edit Inv]. If you can get a service request in 
I would really appreciate it.

I also have a WOU laptop that has a date/time 
issue that won’t allow it to access the internet 
and I am not an admin so I can’t fix it. Can you 
also help with that? Number is: 20150409[Edit Inv].

Hi there,

So from my understanding it is a desktop computer 
right? For the spinning wheel, it could possibly 
be an updating signal, but normally it's easy to 
tell for Macs if it's updating or not, if you 
think that might be what your computer's doing, 
please let it be and don't try to force restart, 
for that will likely damage the system and make 
your computer slower. If you are sure it is not 
updating but just loading forever, please provide 
the WOU# of the computer and I'll create a service 
request for it.

Hello,

I am using a UCS Loaner computer as I am splitting 
my time between working from home and working on 
campus.  The computer I am using in my campus 
office (the loaner) is so slow and I’m wondering 
if I can have it looked at to see if something can 
be done. It’s a Mac and I’ve spent the last 15 
minutes staring at a spinning pinwheel and finally 
decided to force it to restart. This is pretty 
typical behavior for this computer at this point. 
Can someone come and take a look?
