delivered today, it'll be moved in the future when graduate studies & research moves upstairs but no ETA on that.

software is all installed and computer is fully updated, will deliver tomorrow!

will check to ensure office/adobe/zoom is on the tower as requested although they should be included in the image.

looks like the department is moving soon, so they asked to postpone delivery until afterwards. 
asked them to just reach out when they were ready, but if we don't hear back i'll follow up :)

updated today and checked admin rights, looks good to go so i reached out to Kristen via email
regarding if there's any software needs / availability for delivery :)

note: Kristen is listed as the contact so i reached out to her, but it's Dr. Fouts' computer so if the preference
is to reach out to her directly i will update accordingly

it's been running (playing videos) all day. if i lean close to the computer, i can hear the fan, and it is louder than normal. but i don't think it is obtrusively noisy, and the computer has not crashed.

the computer is under warranty until 12-22. will talk to monica about this later to see what she suggests. 

computer could use a new fan. seems to be running fine in general otherwise. video card tests came back fine, no problems. but video card fan is being noisy, etc. not continuous issues, but def being angry. computer is sitting on my desk.

plugged it in to look at it; it died within a few minutes

fan definitely could use replacing or something. 
not sure what's up; haven't seen this before. 
computer just won't turn on now.

Our Dean of Graduate Studies and Research has been 
having a lot of problems with her computer 
20190709.

It will start making a loud fan noise and then it 
will just shut down. This will happen under random 
circumstances, even after it has just been 
restarted. Sometimes it requires to be unplugged 
before it will turn back on.
