stopped by this morning and fixed the issue!
printed test card and confirmed the magstripe was also encoded correctly :)

only possible worry is that the fix isn't applied across users, so i'll leave the ticket open for a week to monitor if it's resolved all around.

if anyone calls regarding this error again - have them try to check the encoder settings (file -> options -> encoding) and make sure it's set to:
HID iClass + change automatic configurations to the option that includes Fargo 4250e.

if this doesn't resolve it / doesn't make sense / you have questions, plz contact me and i'll do my best to fix it!!

 hi this is shayla with the Warner university 
Center info desk we're having a problem with our 
ID card printer or getting an error message that 
says this printer has no card encoding. capability 
and so we're not able to print the cards, and so, 
if someone could help us out with that that'd be 
great Thank you.
