Hi Lauren,
I haven't used the laptop in a couple of months. I can pick it up next
week on Wednesday and give it a try. I am surprised about the
battery. How long should it last when unplugged?
Thanks for checking out the laptop for me. I really appreciate it.
Best,
Cori

Hi Cori,

I need some additional information regarding service request #78481

Description: Laptop needs updating or fixing.

I am currently running diagnostics on the laptop with suspected
battery issues. It looks like the battery health is "excellent," and
diagnostic tests passed. I have not been able to get the laptop to
repeat the problem.

One option we have is to reimage the computer, which would reset it
to default and hopefully remove any problems. Otherwise, you can
pick up the computer at your convenience. What is your preference?

Thank you,

Lauryn Aronson

battery health is excellent, all diagnostic tests passed. will mess with
computer a bit more to see if it shuts down. since it hasn't been used
in a couple of months, it's worth asking if she just wants me to
reimage it.

The computer sometimes shuts down on it's own while charging. Device hasn't been used in a couple months, might needs updating or fixing. Might be a battery issue.
