taking printer to pdr shed (large and v heavy, no point in taking to oed just to move again). asking moshe to update anything needing to reflect the location of the printer beyond basic inventory (i don't know how the pdr process works).

This is from the Student Engagement dept. 

Tray lift mechanism is broken. Cannot be repaired by a tech due to how old it is. Cannot bypass the error message to use the Bypass tray. 
Toners are 6 months or more old and cannot be returned.

Thank you and will do. I'll make sure the staff 
have a paper attached to the top of the printer 
with the details of why it is not working and my 
contact info for questions.

The paper tray lift mechanism is not working and 
we can't bypass the error message to use anything 
else on the printer. In addition, we cannot get a 
tech out to fix it. So, yes, basically not 
functioning.

We have a printer that needs to be removed. 
20120294[Edit Inv]. We need the space it is taking up for 
something else. The unit is being replaced in a 
different way and the new unit will not being 
going in that space. 
Can I have one of my staff bring this printer to 
UCS? I am guessing it needs to be disposed of 
through UCS given it has an inventory number in 
it. The printer is medium size and sits on a 
countertop.
