computer came back on fri 2/25, apple repair did a clean mac os install so just finishing the imaging process now!

will reach out to user to let them know their computer is repaired & ready :)

talked to apple support today, arranged for a shipment box to send in the macbook for repair

thought it might be a bricked T2 chip from a failed update etc, but after working on this for the past week feel pretty confident that the issue is a dead logic board. 
good news is computer is still under warranty, will get started on looking into repair process and quotes for the device.

gonna send an update to Melanie today just to communicate on what's going on ^^

the screen is black, and the green light next to the camera is on. when i force shut off the computer, the light goes dark for a second, then turns back on; i don't think the computer will stay shut off. the touchpad responds to my touch, so the computer is on.

i've tried a few different things, to no avail: smc reset, resetting pram (both of which may have been ineffective if the computer didn't shut off/all the way), holding the power button for random intervals of time, disconnecting and reconnecting the batter (twice, and holding the power button in between)

i'm putting the computer back in the inbox.

My WOU laptop is opening to a black screen and I 
cannot get it to reboot.  Is there a procedure for 
dropping off a laptop and having it looked at to 
see if it can be fixed?
