don't have time to keep working on this this week. one avenue i was exploring was that this specific keyboard (brydge something) has some weird shortcut that activates the trackpad versus having it function normally as a keyboard. 

had these tabs open but didn't get a chance to read through them all the way or try them.

okay so talked to ellis and it sounds like the bluetooth keyboard that is being used with this ipad is not working. the right half basically turned into a trackpad. ellis didn't examine it further to see if it was a setting issue or if the keyboard is broken. 

Cheri was being directed by Mike Ellis to call in and make SR
