i talked with her a bit more following this, she said it wasn't resolved and hadn't had the chance to try the printer code instructions yet; so i offered to arrange for a tech to stop by to do it and haven't heard back since.

would just get in touch and try to arrange a time for that if the issue is still unresolved.

after resolving the issue for dr. gimenez, confirmed that it's a configuration error and will have to be applied while user is logged in

can't fix without them present, so I'll try sending over some instructions or asking again for availability

Hello UCS,

 

Please work with Dr. Gimenez so that she can print to the Ricoh MFP in the Humanities workroom, BELL 312 from her MAC.  This is called HU-Copier on ThreeSisters.

 

Access is not allowed to anyone other that the two people listed for the HUM-3, color copier.  Thank you for asking for authorization. 

 

Our faculty send their small color print requests to me, and I gladly print them out.  If it’s a bigger print job, we would get pricing and probably send out the job to the Print Shop on campus for better quality color printing.  Alternatively, we have a large variety of colored paper for them to use.

 

PLEASE NOTE – Dr. Baldwin has been having the same issue with her MAC not being able to print to the Ricoh MPF.   Something changed, because before the pandemic, they were both able to use the Ricoh as a printer.

 

Can you please treat both requests for Dr. Gimenez and Dr. Baldwin to print to the Ricoh as URGENT?  We are now back to campus, and these faculty members need to be able to print!

Mac computer unable to print, coworkers able to 
print just fine, can send it to the printer but it 
won't print, originally it was just adobe but now 
it is also happening in Word. Additionally, the 
second monitor is not working, unsure if it's a 
connection issue or the monitor itself.
