Ben ran another backup of the device and this can be the backup we use to give / get back to the user to upload to their H drive and then reclaim the drive.

We got this laptop back and she wants her data off of it; has around 430GB that we need copied either in a backup or something, she wrote down what she specifically wanted; bookmarks, downloads, desktop items, any local files basically.

I am hoping we can create a backup of the device and upload it to her H drive. It is sitting on the back of the new table.

Hello, We have an outstanding service request that 
states you have two GFA computers. There are a few 
notes in the service request mentioning that you are 
experiencing some issues with your newer GFA 
computer. I would like to check in and make sure 
your newer GFA is working properly so that you can 
return your old GFA. We would also be willing to 
pick it up from your office!

talked to john; it sounds like we are waiting to get 
a new computer in so she can use two monitors. once 
she gets the new computer, she will return both 
computers she currently has.

Hi Lauryn,

Do I have to give up my old machine? I’ve got a 
very good set up in my office now with the two 
machines - one which comes home with me daily (the 
new one) and the old one which stays here. 
Additionally we were unable to figure out a way to 
get both monitors hooked up to my new machine, so 
in order to use my two monitor set up I need to 
keep the old machine to run one of them. This is 
really helping my productivity. Also right now for 
some reason my email is not downloading into my 
Mail on my new laptop reliably. I have to keep 
quitting mail and restarting it to get my email 
refreshed. I’ve been using email on my old machine 
today to make sure I don’t miss anything 
important. I’ve similar had situations where I got 
back to campus from being off campus with the new 
machine and had issues printing. Thankfully I 
could quickly pull up the file on my old machine 
that stays on campus and print. Having both has 
been incredibly useful. I’d really like to keep 
them both.
