Went over to her office to check it out. Gave her 
admin rights and repaired her Microsoft Office 
through control panel repair tool. Word and other 
office apps works fine now.

Thanks for sending this list for troubleshooting; 
unfortunately when I went down the list of 
solutions almost all of them told me I didn't have 
administrative rights to perform the function.  
Solution #2 was the only one that let me complete 
it and repairing the program did nothing to fix 
it.  The Microsoft applications are still not 
working.  Is there anything else I can try?

I'll be available at 3p if it's possible to have 
someone help.

I'm hoping you can help!  This morning when I try 
to open any Microsoft Office application (Word, 
Excel, Powerpoint), I'm getting this message:

"The application was unable to start correctly 
(0xC0000142)"

Everything was working fine on Tuesday when I was 
here but I did have an update that ran Tuesday 
evening and today was the first day that I've used 
the computer since this update and no Microsoft 
Office application will open.
