I got the new battery and replaced it in the laptop.  The laptop is charging on the empty desk.  I also put away the laptop we used to test with.

either battery or motherboard, but blink code 
indicates possibly battery

having battery issues. Is there a time we could 
stop by to pick up this laptop to take a look at

Hi, Thanks for reaching out.

I am on campus sporadically through this term, so 
I don't know if the request for a new battery has 
been completed or not.  Last I heard was the day 
that someone (I can't remember his name!) came to 
my office and determined the issues I was having 
with the laptop was due to a battery problem.  The 
laptop works if it is plugged in, but does not 
work if it is not plugged into the wall.  

I am unable to use the laptop away from my desk 
(or an outlet anyway).  

I explained to the person who was helping that I 
am not there everyday and suggested access to my 
office through Michelle Gallagher who is the 
administrative assistant for the Gerontology 
Department.  

The only notification I have received is this one 
and one last week on the phone system through WOU.  
I have not received any correspondence that the 
issue was resolved.

John checked it out this morning and said it was 
probably a battery issue and told her to wait an 
hour to see if got better or worse. She called 
back, and it's still the same. The computer needs 
to be picked up and assessed by a tech. She says 
she is out most of the week, so talk to the 
administrative assistant to pick up her laptop.
