Hi Keats,

We were just emailing you regarding a service
request that we have for you. (#79210)

Laptop Auto-Scrolling

Just letting you know that nothing we did was able
to recreate the errors with your laptop auto
scrolling on out profiles so it's possible that it
has either has fixed itself or that it's a profile
issue. So we're going to ad this over to your
supervisor for you and please let us know if you
continue to have issues

Thanks,
Justin Cope

Hi, Elliot:

I'm assuming it's still going to be awhile before
my laptop is ready to come back to me--if it's not
until after 5:00pm today, can you contact my
supervisor, Bev West (westb@mail.wou.edu), when
it's ready? That way, it could at least come back
to our office, and y'all won't have to hang onto
it for the two weeks I'm gone.

Cheers!

Thanks, Elliot--I've tried the first three.

Fix 1: No change.

Fix 2: No visible damage

Fix 3: No driver updates available (it does show
three different HID-compliant mouse options, but I
checked all of them)

I have also tried disconnecting my wireless mouse,
and the issue still happens when I just have the
trackpad active.

My computer started doing a thing yesterday where
certain windows will just autoscroll to the bottom
(or far right, if that be the case) when I hover
over them. It doesn't happen in all windows, but
it does happen in drive/setting menus, OneNote, my
volume control (that one's been fun).....

I've been able to narrow down the issue to the
laptop itself--the issue continues to occur even
when the laptop isn't connected to any peripherals
(docking station, wireless mouse, external
keyboard). I have tried restarting the computer,
but the issue is still occurring.
