Good morning, to the person reading this email, 

I was given a new computer recently, and 
screenflow was installed there, but I can't record 
my lessons, I have the following message: "Unable 
to start recording from Desktop." After that 
message, there are other instructions that I 
followed, but I still I can't record anything. 

I wonder what I could do because I need to record 
my summer classes. Will it be possible that anyone 
can help me over zoom since I don't want to go to 
the university until my grades are done? Thanks 
for your support and understanding.

Hi Carmen,

So I looked into both SPSS and Endnote and 
unfortunately they aren't something that the 
university gets for free so getting a licence for 
them would have to be paid for. Looking at Endnote 
we might be able to transfer your version that is 
on your old macbook W20141279, to your new one as 
long as it is compatible (I remember you saying 
something about having a disk for it we would need 
that as well). We also need W20141279 back from 
you as your new macbook W20210408 was it's 
replacement. I will gladly help you get anything 
that you need off of your old laptop and on to 
your new one that you need but I was told that we 
do need the old one back. It would probably be 
easiest if we could get both of your computers and 
then we could give you a loner in return while we 
work on getting Endnote and other files 
transferred. Please let me know when would be a 
good time for this.

Couldn't identify what kind of slanted line is 
appearing on her device via phone call but 
whenever she uses word or types on a document a 
line just keeps appearing and she's rebooted 
multiple times but it still keeps showing up. It 
has been happening since  5/25.

She is hoping a tech can stop by around 2pm on 
Tuesday 5/31 to check it out and see if there is a 
solution as this is her work from home device.
