Dear Jose!

Hi! Thank you so much for asking all these things.

As for software: I work with R and Python. But I 
can install these on my own, no problem with that. 
Does the computer come with Powerpoint, word and 
excel?

Building: west house, office 203.

I´m teaching from noon until four on wednesday. 
But I´ll be there early, at around 11 am. Does 
that work for you?

This is a completely new computer and I´m new 
faculty. So I don´t have any files that need to be 
saved.

Subject:  New Dell Computer Setup

Hello Kathy, 

We have your new laptop and monitor ready to be delivered and set up.  To 
prepare, if this delivery is replacing an existing station, please ensure that 
you move all of your files from that machine onto your H: drive or otherwise 
back them up.  Anything left on an old machine will not be accessible from your 
new one.  If you have any questions or need help backing up your data, please 
email me back or call our office at 8-8925.

Once that is complete, we can set up your new equipment.  Please let us know 
your availability for the next few business days so that we can schedule a time 
to set it up with you.
