Changed a few setting on the printers. Tested a few times on both printer and neither one seemed to take a long time to print or cause word to go unresponsive.

Hi UCS Friends,

My computer in my office (todd 309) is still 
having printer issues

On Thursday Oct 6 I wont be on campus till 11:00. 
This is later than I indicated in the earlier 
message. 

I will be in my office from Thursday Oct 6 from 
11-5 with several zoom callls happening... I can 
do those by phone if needed.

Thanks!

I can try what is suggested.... However, I never 
print to the copier, only to the two printers PY 
PsyColor on 3 sisters or PY Psy on 3 sisters.

I wonder if fixing the tray resolved the issue 
with Kacie's computer printing? 

I just never print to the copier, only to the 
printers. But I can make sure they have paper.

Good afternoon UCS Friends, 

This is Chehalis Strapp, psychology professor, in 
Todd 309. 

I emailed a while back about issues printing from 
my office computer (I've included the email 
string). 

At that time, someone checked my computer and 
didn't have problems, but thought it might be tied 
to me specifically (not sure what that means). 

My computer still is having problems printing 
specifically word documents (or powerpoints). 
Eventually printing occurs, but for a while 
printing gets stuck (Word is not responding). Most 
of the time printing still occurs, but it can take 
several minutes of my computer being "frozen" and 
then most of the time it prints. 

While  I can be patient and wait it out, this 
leads me to believe something more is going on 
with my computer. Can someone come check it out? 

I'll be here today October 5 from 12-5, and also 
tomorrow Thursday from 10-5:00 (I do have some 
zoom meetings scheduled during this time on 
Thursday, but could do them on my personal cell 
phone if needed).

I belive this had to do with printer having 
an error on the tray they were using. I 
fixed the tray error and got it to print

I've been trying to print at the two local 
printers on the third floor of Todd hall including
PY PsyColor on 3 sisters
or 
PY Psy on 3 sisters

 I hope your week is going well. I am sure you are 
super busy. 

I've run into some challenges printing from my 
office computer. My office is Todd309 and my 
computer is 20200677[Edit Inv]

it happened a few times this summer, and has 
increased recently. 

Whenever I attempt to print a word document, to 
our local departmental printer, the document seems 
to freeze up (see picture below). 

The program note at the top left indicates "word 
is not responding" and then the printer seems to 
get stuck spooling. 

At times when I've checked the printer, it also 
says it is offline.
