believe the loaner was brought back.

I sent an email telling him to purchase a new iMac 
and we can let him use a loaner until his purchase 
arrives

The Imac can't be fixed, the options were to get a 
new computer or see if we can give a old computer 
of the same size and type for him. I believe I got 
the computer, I can't backed up with stuff, so 
didn't do it

Talked with Dirk today. He wanted an update on this computer. I 
told him I would look into it and provide some options in case it 
cannot be fixed.

I tried recover and using DiskUtil but the hard drive is not mounting and so you can not run first aide or reinstall the OS.

It's possible it may be recoverable by going 
into recovery mode and resetting the OS. I 
won't have time for it today though

APSC 226 had a hard drive issue so we are 
going to take it back and reimage it, 
replaced it with the imac in Smith hall

Computer 20170934[Edit Inv] in APSC 226 is having a black 
and white error screen. It has lots of software on 
if we cannot get the computer back up and running 
then he would like us to replace that computer 
with 20160830[Edit Inv] that is located in SMITH HALL 203. 
You will need to go on the stage then head to the 
backstage door and go up the stairs. He explained 
it as a little room. That 20160830[Edit Inv] computer has 
alot of the software that the 20170934[Edit Inv] computer 
has. If we move the SMITH hall computer to APSC 
then give SMITH HALL a loaner that has logic pro 
installed.
