Talked to Chris. says he has had no further issues. 
returned the loaner laptop 20210571[Edit Inv] to me.

returned his laptop. made sure the dock firmware 
was updated. waiting to see if it crashes again.

Also informed him that the crash could possibly be 
caused by Firefox because of the potential Firefox 
vs Sophos conflict John found.

HI Justin,

I'm free the rest of today and in-office tomorrow 
with no meetings that would interfere. I believe I 
did update the dock previously as an attempted fix 
but you're welcome to check it out. I have not had 
any issues with the loaner unit. I don't know what 
the service/warranty contract is but for the time 
spent it may be worthwhile to just do some kind of 
permanent replacement.

Hi Christopher,

I need some additional information regarding service 
request #79826

Description: Laptop repeatedly shutting down

So I still cant get the laptop to crash which makes 
me think that it is something to do with your dock 
setup and maybe it needs updated itself. When would 
be a good time to come by and do that for you?

him and then emailed him to find out when to get his

returned his laptop to him but he was leaving 
somewhere so he'll bring the loner back later. if it 
keeps crashing then we might have to just reimage 
it. close the ticket when we get the loner back.

Not sure if the last memo is details about the 
loaner or his laptop, but if it's the loaner that's 
shutting down then it's not the laptop that's the 
issue

He says he's installed updates and checked to see if 
it was his hub that was causing this but it still 
keeps occurring daily

He is going to bring his laptop in to get looked 
at and wants a loaner to use in the meantime, with 
admin rights. He would like someone to contact him 
when the loaner is ready so he can come bring his

His laptop keeps repeating a shut down and rebooting  
process almost daily. He has tried rebooting and 
updating his laptop and still nothing, it's 
happening more frequently.
