Hi Kevin,

We were just emailing you regarding a service
request that we have for you. (#79936)

Setup 2015 imac and connect to black and white
printer

Finale has reached it's limit on how many computers
it can be downloaded on so we can't get it on the
imac that we are setting up for your student without
un-authorizing it from another computer. is there
another computer that we can un-authorize it from
that you aren't using so we can get this set up for
them?

Thanks,
Justin Cope

Added Logic Pro and Finale.. These need to be removed once the iMac returns since both of these are licensed

Hello,

It will be set up in APSC 401 - Academic Advising
and Learning Center (also referred to as the
"Testing Center"). There are currently a handful
of PCs and a printer in there (but we need the Mac
so that we can run our software). Also, APSC 405
(Disability Services Office) is the office that
oversees APSC 401 - just in case you need to run
interference with anyone.

I will need to have enough room to hook up a midi
keyboard too. Of course, I can get it all
configured to meet the needs of the student (once
the computer is installed).

Hi Maizie,

Black and white printer is fine! Actually, the
2015 27-inch would be ideal for both music
applications (but either computer would be fine).

Thanks!!

Hello,

I'm not sure who to send this to, but would
appreciate any help in forwarding it to the right
person in UCS. Thanks!

The music department currently has a student in a
wheelchair that cannot access the midi lab (APSC
101-102) due to the lack of a handicap entry.
Facilities and maintenance will be fixing that
issue over the Christmas break (the long thread
that I have forwarded to you will confirm this).
In the meantime, we have received permission from
the Office of Disability Services to set up a
computer in the student testing room on the 4th
floor of APSC so that this student has access to
the music applications necessary to complete
coursework.

What I need to know (so that we can get this
student accommodated) is if UCS has an extra iMac
available to place in the testing services room in
APSC with the music applications, Finale and Apple
Logic installed. It would only need to be made
available until the handicap access updates have
been completed. There is also a printer in that
room and this computer would need to be set up to
use it.

Thank you for your help in this matter! Please
contact me should you have any other questions at
this time!
-Kevin
