Hi, Justin. I'll try this but I have already 
unplugged and replugged it several times to no 
avail.

Good times for me this week would be Tuesday, 
Thursday, or Friday between 10am and 2pm each day.

Hi Stewart,

We were just following up with you regarding a 
service request that we have for you.  (#80061)

Description: Laptop Dock not working 

If it is the problem that I think it is. All you 
have to do it make sure it isn't plugged into the 
computer and then unplug it's power cord for about 
10 sec and then plug it back in. Then you should be 
able to plug it back into the computer and have it 
work. Is there a good time that we could come over 
and take a look at it if that doesn't work?

There were some command updates, including one for 
the dock, but installing those and rebooting 
doesn't seem to have changed anything.

The dock doesn't work even when it isn't plugged 
into my laptop, though. Basically, the ring on the 
power source is lit up when it's the only thing 
that is plugged into the wall, but as soon as I 
connect the dock, that light goes out. I don't 
know if the light is really relevant or not but 
it's not delivering power to my mouse or keyboard 
either, so it seems like the dock itself might be 
where the problem is.

I will be working almost entirely from home over 
the next couple of weeks, so I don't need a 
loaner. A service request is fine if you think it 
might be fixable!

Hello!

My Dell laptop dock (20200684) wasn't working when 
I got to work this afternoon and plugged in my 
laptop. 

I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back 
in, including to a different power socket, and 
while the main power source does seem to still be 
working, it cuts off as soon as I plug the dock 
into it, so I think it is just dead.

Is there a way to request a new one, or do I need 
to set up a purchase request with Nora in the 
library?
