fixed. for future reference--the usb dongle needed 
to be plugged into the monitor, not the dock (for 
some unknown reason)

Hello Lauryn,
   Yes, I have tried replacing the batteries a few 
times and have tried different USB ports on my 
docking station and monitor. One USB allows me to 
use my keyboard but the mouse is laggy and does 
not connect properly. Other USB ports will not let 
me use them either. It gave me an error once that 
there were too many USB ports in use, the 
connector for the keyboard/mouse combo is all I 
have. It disappeared before I could grab a 
screenshot of that. Recently we had to move all of 
our office supplies out for a carpet replacement 
and that is when they stopped working, I am not 
sure if something was set back up incorrectly or 
what is happening.

Description: wireless mouse and keyboard connecting

Have you tried replacing the batteries and/or 
switching the dongle to a different USB port?

Good morning! I have been having trouble with my 
wireless mouse and keyboard connecting to me 
dock/laptop. It has been going on for about a week 
and every time it does connect it is super laggy
